My upcoming cookbook, Recipes for Longevity, is in the final editing stage and will be released later this month!
The ultimate goal of this cookbook is to give you the tools and recipes necessary to live your longest, healthiest, disease-free life so you can do more of what you love longer.
If you've been following my work for a while, you know that the primary driver of Alzheimer's disease and all disease is chronic inflammation, and this inflammation stems from elevated blood sugars, poor gut health, refined sugars, inflammatory fats, and gluten (to name a few of the major culprits).
As stated in my email last week: “Anytime inflammation is present in the body it directly causes insulin resistance” which contributes to weight gain, diabetes, and Alzheimer's disease. Inflammation is like a low-grade fire that's gradually breaking down the systems of the body causing it to age faster.
This is why I've intentionally created the recipes to reduce inflammation, regulate blood sugars, and support gut health. And of course to taste good too!
Majority of the recipes take 30 minutes or less to make and are:
Centered around protein, fiber, and healthy fats
Low-glycemic to regulate blood sugars
Rich in antioxidants to reduce inflammation and slow the aging process
